A song bellyaching Chris Brown's treatment of Rihanna is in the midst of a controversy not because of the song subject but because the band's name Smoke Jumpers was already being used by a Texan hip-hop collaborative.
Smoke Jumpers have renamed themselves as Jump Smokers but the original Smoke Jumpers are not happy and the group says their name has been hurt "in the minds of music listeners everywhere."
If anything their name has been given publicity most bands dream of.
